Radiology

The Radiology Department at New Sinai MDI Hospital offers advanced imaging services for the accurate detection and evaluation of various medical conditions. Our radiologic technologists and specialists provide high-quality imaging to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment monitoring.
RADIOLOGY SERVICES OFFERED
GENERAL RADIOGRAPHY

Safe and quick diagnostic imaging technique that uses controlled doses of X-rays to create images of the body’s internal structures.

It is one of the most common and essential imaging procedures, helping visualize bones, organs, and soft tissues to aid in the detection, monitoring, and evaluation of various medical conditions.

  • Upper Extremities
  • Whole Spine

CT-SCAN (64-SLICE)

A 64-slice CT Scan is an advanced imaging procedure that uses X-rays and computer technology to capture clear, detailed cross-sectional images of your body. These images show your organs, blood vessels, bones, and soft tissues with high accuracy, helping in the detection and evaluation of various medical conditions. This procedure is commonly done for the abdomen, chest, head, face, neck, extremities, and can also create 3D images for better assessment.

It supports accurate diagnosis for conditions such as infections, tumors, injuries, or blockages, and is especially helpful in emergency situations. The procedure is quick, painless, and often requires little preparation, with the option to use contrast for enhanced clarity.

  • Abdomen (Whole/Upper/Lower – Triphasic, Triple, Adrenals, and Pancreatic)
  • Angiogram (Cerebral, Pulmonary, Thoracic, Abdominal, Peripheral, and etc.
  • Chest
  • Cranial
  • Facial
  • Mandible
  • Neck
  • Paranasal Sinuses
  • Upper and Lower Extremities
  • 3D Reconstruction

GENERAL ULTRASOUND

Safe, non-invasive imaging procedure that uses sound waves to produce real-time images of organs, tissues, and blood flow, helping assess areas.

It offers several benefits, including the absence of radiation, quick and comfortable scanning, real-time visualization of internal structures, and the ability to detect abnormalities early for more accurate evaluation and treatment planning.

TOMOMAMMOGRAM

An advanced breast imaging procedure that uses 2D and 3D digital mammography to create clear, detailed images of breast tissue, helping in the early detection and evaluation of lumps, abnormalities, or changes that may not be visible through a standard exam.

It offers important benefits such as improved accuracy, better visualization of dense breast tissue, reduced chances of false positives, and earlier identification of potential breast conditions, making it a valuable tool for routine screening and diagnostic purposes.
